Roasted*Garlic Bread

INGREDIENTS:

1 large head garlic (but why not make it 4)
Extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher chunky salt
FRESHLY ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400°. Slice off top 1/3 of the head of garlic. Drizzle with oil and season with salt+pepper Wrap in foil and place on a small cookiesheet I love popping these in my toaster oven +during the last few minutes: in goes a few rows of diagonally sliced baguette/french bread. Roast until golden and soft, 40 minutes. Let cool then squeeze out garlic cloves and use on just.about.everything. Try mashing up with a stick of salted butter+topping thin toasted crostinies with fresh thyme+drizzle of wild flower honey+ flakey salt. ::CLICK TO SHOP::
