Split dough in two Roll out each Smear each with half stick of room temp butter Sprinkle with 1/4C. white sugar+1T. cinnamon Let’s roll it out :)
Starting with the short end, roll the dough up tightly into a log. Pinch the seam closed and place the loaf seam side down in your prepared pan Or slice with twine for rolls. Cover loosely with plastic wrap/damp towel and let rise in a warm place for 10 minutes, until the rolls/loaf has risen above the pans.
Just before baking, egg wash or lightly spritz the tops of the with water. (Helps with cracking and adding in a little moisture) Bake loaves for 30 minutes/ Cinnamon rolls for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cover with aluminum foil if the bread begins to brown too quickly.
Cool loaves in the pan for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Smear rolls immediately with frosting so the buttery goodness can become one with the glorious gooiness from the centers of the rolls.
